Emergency Solutions\nGrant, Housing Assistance Program,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

& Homelessness\nPrevention Program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nCity of Milwaukee – Community Development Grants Administration (CDGA) is\naccepting applications for the provision of the Emergency Solutions Grant, Housing Assistance\nProgram & Homelessness Prevention Program (EHH) application for homeless\nservices. The Emergency Shelter Grant was created\nin 1991 under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act.  The Homeless Emergency Assistance and Rapid\nTransition to Housing Act of 2009 (HEARTH Act) amended the McKinney Vento Act,\nrevising the Emergency Shelter Grant Program in significant ways and renaming\nit the Emergency Solutions Grant Program (ESG). This grant is funded by the U.S.\nDepartment of Housing & Urban Development. ESG can be used for rapid\nre-housing, homelessness prevention, emergency shelter, street outreach and\nHomeless Management Information Systems (HMIS). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligible\napplicants must be located in the City of Milwaukee and be incorporated as a\n501(c)(3) non-profit agency at the time of application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Completed\napplications are due to the Community Development Grants Administration no\nlater than March 27, 2020 by 3:00\nP.M. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incomplete\napplications received after this date and time will not be reviewed and will be\nreturned to the applicant.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
