FY 2022 Milwaukee CoC Competition Timeline
Please note this timeline covers important deadline for Milwaukee CoC’s standard CoC program competition, and is not intended for the Unsheltered & Rural Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) local competition. The timeline for the special unsheltered NOFO competition can be found below the FY 2022 Milwaukee CoC Competition Timeline.

8/15/2022: Deadline for CoC renewal project grantees to communicate any plans to reallocate, expand, consolidate or make other changes to renewal projects by e-mailing Milwaukee CoC Collaborative Applicant staff Rafael Acevedo, Emily Whitcomb, Gregg Higgins and Claire Shanahan (racevedo@milwaukee.gov , ewhitc@milwaukee.gov , grhiggi@milwaukee.gov , cshana@milwaukee.gov – all 4 staff will be hereafter referred to as Collaborative Applicant staff and should all be included on any communication regarding Milwaukee’s FY 2022 CoC local competition )
8/16/2022: Project application paper forms and scoring summaries published for renewal projects and new projects applying for bonus funding on CoC website, enewsletter, social media. (reminder – paper applications are accepted separately from the project applications that are also required in HUD’s e-snaps application system for the CoC NOFO)

8/26/2022: Completed renewal project application and bonus project application paper forms due to Collaborative Applicant staff by the end of the business day, 4:45 PM
8/30/2022: Renewal project applications and bonus project applications due in e-snaps
9/08/2022: Collaborative applicant completes ranking of all projects, and requests revisions to project applications in e-snaps
9/09/2022: Collaborative applicant staff notifies project applicants in writing over e-mail informing them of whether or not their project application has been accepted and will be ranked
9/12/2022: Collaborative applicant staff shares final ranking of projects with all applicants in NOFO workgroup meeting
9/15/2022: Collaborative applicant staff shares final ranking of projects with all applicants in Milwaukee CoC board of directors meeting for approval ( Final ranking of all CoC projects accepted for the FY 2022 local competition)
9/19/2022: Final revisions to all e-snaps project applications due in e-snaps by end of the business day, 4:45 PM
9/21/2022: Final draft of full CoC application provided to NOFO workgroup for review
9/27/2022: Full CoC application , priority listing of project applications published to CoC website for public comment (comments submitted in email to all Collaborative Applicant staff)
9/28/2022: Full CoC application submitted to HUD in e-snaps.

9/14/2022: Complete letters of intent due to Rafael Acevedo racevedo@milwaukee.gov by this date.
9/20/2022: All complete project applications due in e-snaps
9/29/2022: City staff provides final feedback on project applications submitted in e-snaps

10/5/2022: Collaborative applicant staff shares final ranking of projects with all applicants in Milwaukee CoC board of directors meeting for approval.
10/18/2022: Full Special Unsheltered NOFO CoC application and Priority Listing posted to the CoC website for public comment
10/18/2022: All parts of full Special Unsheltered NOFO CoC application submitted to HUD in e-snaps
10/20/2022: HUD deadline for submission of full Special Unsheltered NOFO CoC application
