Housing Inventory Count

Annually, all CoCs prepare a Homeless Assistance Programs Housing Inventory Count Reports to provide a snapshot of a CoC’s housing inventory capacity to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  The HIC details an inventory of housing available through the CoC conducted once annually during the last ten days in January.  The reports tally the number of beds and units available on the night designated for the count by program type, and include beds dedicated to serve persons who are homeless as well as persons in Permanent Supportive Housing.  As of 2019, the HIC reports also include data on beds dedicated to serve specific sub-populations of persons.  Below are recent HIC report exports submitted to HUD.  Please note that the below are once annual measurements, and Housing Inventory fluctuates during the year.
