How Can I Help?

Milwaukee Warming Shelters
In a harsh Wisconsin winter, the most basic necessity is warmth.  To keep people safe this year, the Milwaukee Continuum of Care, Milwaukee County Housing Division, City of Milwaukee, IMPACT, and United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County are coming together to provide more warming shelters and amenities for individuals and families to get them off the streets and keep them warm.

GIVE TO SHELTER  We’re increasing our capacity to serve more in need.  Help us bridge the homeless services gap for shelter in the winter.  Visit the Milwaukee CoC’s HandUp campaign to make a contribution to support staffing and increased hours of operation for private Milwaukee warming shelters at

GIVE TO SUPPORT UNMET NEEDS  We’re making sure people moving on from homelessness into a home do so with dignity.  Help us bridge the homeless services gap for furniture and essentials such as furniture, sheets and cleaning supplies that everyone needs as they move into a new home.  Visit the Milwaukee CoC’s HandUp campaign to make a contribution to support unmet needs for those moving into their new home at
